Default Gaze Necros?

Hello, im not rlly a fan of 'Question Threads' but something is really bothering me. I'm interested in running a gaze build with 18 blood magic but i just can't make a solid build out of it. I was thinking about using the Ravenous gaze elite
and vampiric swarm. Don't tell me that gaze necros suck and that i should go SS or MM thx.

Are you asking for a pure Gaze build?

Ravenous Gaze (e)
Gaze of Contempt
Oppressive Gaze
Jaundiced Gaze
Vampiric Gaze

Awww nuts. These are the only gaze spells that exist for blood/no attribute.

Anyway, get those + enfeebling blood + signet of lost souls + rez

Hope this helps.

Ravenous Gaze is one of the worst necro elites, I highly suggest Spoil Victor.

Spoil Victor is very very good, specially used against monks or any caster.

I am using this build in PVE with great sucess and fun, because i got tired of MM and echo SS.

Blood Magic 12+1+3
Soul Reaping 9+1
Rest in curses +1.

1.- Life Siphon
2.- Spoil Victor
3.- Parasitic Bond
4.- Jaundiced Gaze
5.- Blood of the aggressor
6.- Signet of Lost Souls
7.- Blood renewal.

Just make sure to cover spoil victor with parasitic bond, it's pretty straightforward build to use that does not need explanation.

For armor i use cheap and easy to get Milthurans Staff.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

I usually just run a simple ss buils with a few blood skils, I find this owns casters, especially monks... :

Glyph of lesser energy (optional)
sv
mark of subversion
insidious parasite
blood of aggressor
life siphon
barbed signet
vampiric gaze
rez / blood renewal / hp gain skill.

Notes : I suppose you could use 3 gazes at the end.

I dunno why you would want to spike on a necro, but go for it..

I like to use Vampiric Spirit when I play blood I love that skill.

You can then use skills like:

[skill]Vampiric Spirit[/skill][skill]Dark Pact[/skill][skill]Blood Drinker[/skill][skill]Blood of the Aggressor[/skill][skill]Jaundiced Gaze[/skill][skill]Vampiric Gaze[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill]

In the last slot you can take BR, a res, enchantment stripper, depending on the area you are playing. Or awaken the blood.

Or you could spec a bit in curses and use

[skill]Enfeebling Blood[/skill] and[skill]Oppressive Gaze[/skill] you'll need to drop a skill though, but this build has plenty of room for tweaking.

Oppressive Gaze is difficult to use in PvP unless the group you're fighting against bunches up foolishly...

Edit: I guess you may be talking about a PvE build... in which case, I've been considering trying Enfeebling Blood and Oppressive Gaze myself.

Actually that was basically the common Bspike build using Opressive, a common and effective idea.

Effective if the team you're fighting likes to crowd in a nice tight bunch for you.
